Welcome to Posey Park Blog

As I sit here, at my daughter's dance class... I am in the hallway--the noisiest hallway probably in the world. People are always passing by in front of me, with children... negotiating with uncomfortable tap shoes, or rushing in with mom tying last minute bows in the hair... oh, and sometimes dads... lost, looking for the right classroom. I bring my laptop, (and my headphones :) and listen to Phantom of the Opera, or Andrea Bocelli (kind of loud) while I type, or work on the website... or a new project. It's funny to watch the world going by, set to music.
I decided to update my "News" page today, as it hasn't been done in forever. The things I said were "coming" have... come and maybe even some gone, too. :) But of course, as a phillosophical writer, it is extremely difficult for me to write to you about anything while just stating fact. I decided I wouldn't try. I wanted to tell you about all of the new changes to the website, and new products that we are so excited about... but I can't do that without feeling inspired, and moved...and grateful.
We finally once again have the Piccadilly Park baby journal in pink! I was excited too, because this is (finally) going to be MY daughter's book. (Now that she's 8-- I am going to truly commit to a style, and finish filling out her pages!!) We also have scrapbooks now!! As a scrapbooker, I am truly excited about this item. I have wanted to do it for so long--and many of you have been asking for them. I hope they do well. They really are so beautiful, and can be personalized! That makes them really special. We also have introduced the Big Brother and Big Sister Journals to the website. This is something we have had for a very long time--but has never been available online. They are adorable. Themed perfectly to suit a young child, and beautifully illustrated by my former business partner and amazing artist, Lisa Craven.
I hope many of you who have visited the site for some time, will find that the changes are all positive, and that you find it easier to maneuver around the online store with the new layout. I was pretty excited about the changes-- of course, as the "webmaster" I was just pretty much impressed with myself. Of all the hats I have worn in my company, I have found that to be one of the most exciting...and challanging at times. The concept that I could think of something I want you to know... all of you ANYWHERE in the world... and just "upload" and there... you have it... Amazing, isn't it? Technology is such a wonderful thing (when it works right! :)
And lastly, we are introducing a new feature to the site that you are reading right now! Our newest feature of the site is the Posey Park Blog. It was almost named "Letters to No One." Because basically that's it... I am just writing about... anything that I feel inspired to. Read it, don't read it... whatever you prefer. And if you read something I write, and have a comment... let's hear it! I'll post that too (If I want to :) I am inspired by you...and your lives, and your stories and thoughts. I am awe struck that it has been over 7 years... and I am still here with my little company, still going strong, and growing! Thank you for finding Posey Park, and telling friends. Thank you for everything. I always remind any mom with a dream... that the next time you put your child's Posey Park baby journal on your lap to write... remember you are holding mine. Believe!
